“Alexander Pielsticker, pianist, musicproducer and composer, is a musical chameleon and interested in a lot of different styles of music, since he started to compose his own music with the age of fourteen. Growing up with classical music on the piano and discovering the freedom in music with Jazz and improvised music, while studying two Bachelor of Music degrees at the ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem (Netherlands) in Piano & Keys (Jazz/Pop) and Composition for film & theatre, he is now following up his studies at the ArtEZ University of the Arts with the Master of Music program to focus on his unique and individual language as a pianist and composer.
With his Big Band at the ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem he already played at the famous „North Sea Jazz“ festival in Rotterdam (Netherlands) and toured with different bands already through various countries in the European Union.
Besides his own Solo Projects as „Alexander Pielsticker“ and
„Alexander B. A. Pielsticker“ he is part of the Jazz Trio Lanzensticker, the freshly founded international Jazz and experimental Trio „3HoKB“ and the Cologne-based musical collective „Lind Froot“, that supports the musical upbringing in low income countries all over the world.”
